Is there any way that XFree86 can be used over firewire connection between two computers ?
One possible way is to use IP over Firewire, and use XFree86 over that, but the IP1394 is not very stable at present. Also, the benchmarks of that are very low. I want to use X directly over firewire so that stream of around 300 MB/s can be obtained.
If someone can provide me links for this, i can write some code to make the pieces work.
