My memory is going - it is a long time since I tried this, and I'd forgotten about the that. It is the main problem and I've never solved it. No wonder I pefer telnet/ssh. Linux 2.5 (possibly back ported to 2.4.large) allows consoles on multiple heads. I've seen reports that that allows two servers to run. Presumable that allows debugging. -- Dr. Andrew C.
