Yes, it's an 86C366 which someone also said has the same PCI ID.
I just tried novbe and noddc and I still got video resolutions out of
wack.
Monitor section:
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "GSM"
ModelName "1505"
ModeLine "[EMAIL PROTECTED](VESA)" 49.5 800 816 896 1056 600 601 604 625
+hsync +vsync
#HorizSync 30-55
VertRefresh 50-90
Option "DPMS"
Option "novbe"
Option "noddc"
If I uncomment HorizSync the video goes out of sync yet this has not
happened using the same modeline on the same monitor using a different PC
(both of them are connected on a KVM but it's not the KVM doing this as I
can go 800x600+ on the other machine running X as well).
I have set the following video driver specific options:
fast_dram = true
fpm_vram = true
pci_burst = true
fifo_aggressive = true
pci_retry = true
early_ras_precharge = true
lcd_center = true (I think this option can go I have no LCD yet ;-))
show_cache = true
HWCursor = true
Driver "s3virge"
VendorName "S3 Inc."
VideoRam 4096
BoardName "Trio 64 3D"
BusID "PCI:1:1:0"
I am confused on why it chose the s3virge driver? S3ViRGE is part of the
Trio 3D card?
The driver especially has issues when using firebird and scrolling the
screen, you get black line corruption.
