Hi; Some weeks back there was a discussion about a problem with some laptops (acer 661LCi, dell 500m,..) were the Vid-BIOS does not return the panel size and XFree can't use the the panel resolution of 1400x1050.Any idea if this problem gets resolved before or with the next XFree86 release ?
