Well, a more realistic way would be to disassemble their Windows
drivers. Or if they have a binary-only Linux driver, that
one would be simpler than the Windows one. Of course that may be
violating DMCA and they may send a mob of lawyers after you.
On the other hand, the copyright laws in Europe are different,
so maybe it's OK to do there. I know for sure that the Russian
copyright law expressly allows disassembling the codes for the
purpose of learning the programmatic interfaces. I've heard
different opinions about what DMCA thinks about it in US.
