Hi team,
I'm not so sure about the proper patching etiquette so I'll ask here,
I seem to have rights to do whatever I want with a bug, so I filed the bug,
I fixed the bug (not in bugzilla), attatched a "proposed patch", assigned
the bug to myself; but I dont think I should be able to mark it fixed
if its not in cvs HEAD, correct ?
Here is the bug info:
http://bugs.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1332
One more thing, Is it desireable that this version of driver be
compileable for X 3.3.x series ?
If so, my patch is broken as it makes use of the "posix_tty" functions
provided only in 4.x versions (could easily fix that... #ifdef... ).
Maybe there is a document on this stuff someone could point
me towards ?
Cheers,
-Tristan
