I'm looking into writing an app to be able to control display controls via DDC - DDC2ci, or SoftDDC
I've been going through the 4.4.0 sourcebase, and while I have seen numerous references on how to implement DDC control at the driver level over the i2c bus. Is there an API, or server extension which exposes this interface? Mac OSX 10.3 exposes the I2C bus at the user level via a IOI2CSendRequest command.
