I don't know much about Modula 3, so don't know what to do with @M3stackdump, and wonder where to get a newer version of cvsup ?

I think we could think about providing cvsync (<http://www.cvsync.org/>) in addition to CVsup to access the XFree86 repository. OpenBSD is using it for 6 month now with success (http://www.openbsd.org/cvsync.html).
