Okay, with a more-or-less working C++ (except iostreams ;)
I get this:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/tg $ xlock -nolock -mode cage
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/tg $ glxgears
_X11TransSocketOpenCOTSClient: Unable to open socket for local
_X11TransOpen: transport open failed for local/odem.66h.42h.de:0
Error: couldn't open display (null)

I've tried to look for the source of this COTS function, but
didn't find it, only a huge bunch of macros.

I'll re-read the diff against "pristine" XFree86, but if I knew
where to look (maybe more than one place?) it surely would help.

bye,

Wir haben uns[...] geeinigt, dass das verwendete Echtzeit-Betriebssystem[...]
weil selbst einfachste Operationen *echt* *Zeit* brauchen. (aus d.a.s.r)
