Summary: source code messed up

Initial Comment:
I tried to update my nedit source code with the ones in the CVS this morning. I
found that some bug fixes have not been merged.

It seems that (AT LEAST) not all the developpers were/are working on the
reasonably same source codes.

This will definetly mess up nedit!!!

and somebody gave a more correct macro for "make C/C++ Prototypes", which
should be used as the default.

for example:

[nedit-Bugs-1525074 ] cursor hangup with continuous wrap, which Joerg
Fischer gave a fix but unfortunately this is not included in the lasted
source code.

and a one related with regular expressions, but I forget who gave the
fix.

Care to add a little detail here, on what you did? I'm able to compile
from CVS just fine on multiple platforms.
