I've now attached a modified folding_criteria.aml file to that page which now should fold in kate (at least version 2.4.1 for kde 3.4.2) as long as the .xml file is "applied". The URL of that page is: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Wikilearn/NeditFoldingDesignCriteria Just a reminder, that is a wiki (TWiki) and you can do things like see older versions of the document, or diffs with older versions. If you look at the bottom of the page and see this: Edit | WYSIWYG | Attach | Printable | Raw View | Backlinks: Web, All Webs | History: r4 < r3 < r2 < r1 | More topic actions If you click on: * any of r4, r3, r2, r1, you'll view that version of the document * a < between any two versions, you'll see a diff between those two versions * "History" you'll see the original version and all the diffs since then (or something like that) Finally, if you want to see a diff between any two version, you can paste this URL in the address bar of your browser: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/rdiff/Wikilearn/NeditFoldingDesignCriteria?rev1=4;rev2=3 And then substitute version numbers appropriately. > (Well, actually, I created that file in kate, and it did work, but I didn't > copy the entire record, forgetting that the folding login in the .xml file > works only within a record--I'll try to explain more later after I get the > example fixed.) I made a start at that explanation in the file, I think it is sufficient for the current purposes.
