Maybe it is clear by now, but on looking at the screenshot posted by Bert
(http://www.linuxsoft.cz/screenshot_img/3824-a.jpg), I realize that I
could/should have done posted a screenshot.

I have now attached a screenshot to the WikiLearn folding criteria page:

http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Wikilearn/NeditFoldingDesignCriteria#Attachments

Maybe my choice of terminology was poor, maybe I shouldn't describe the
intermediate terminator as a modified "E" or "+" because it is still an L in
that the horizontal line is at the bottom of the text on the line it points
to.

The key point is, that for ends of intermediate of folding regions, the
vertical line continues again (and is attached to) the vertical line of the
L, whereas for the end of a final folding region, it looks more truly like an
L, the vertical line does not continue below the L.

This post was probably overkill--oh well. I'm getting into a mode of feeling
the need to clarify or respond to everything, and I plan to back off. :-)
