1) In Preference->Default Settings->Customize window title, check all the
buttons except "brief" in Title definition". Uncheck "Open file in new tab" in
Preference->Default Settings->Tabbed editing.
2) Save above settings.
3) Open a exiting file, the tile will be shown as
file1.c dirpath [machine] username
4) Choose from menu File->New, a new window will pop out. type something and
save it (give it a new name file2.c), and you'll see the path of the file is
not updated! The title is
file2.c [machine] username

There is an essier way to reproduce: Just start nedit without following a
file name. After you give it a name and save it, the file path won't be
updated!
