For really small changes you could even ommit the post to the list,
but it's a good habit anyway.


Good commit messages should be a matter of course, but aren't. That's
also something I adapted during the Big Beef.

Not necessarily, no. Big issues should be added, but the mailing list
would have to be referenced anyway.
