Summary: file argument ignored when starting nedit

Initial Comment:
I use NEdit 5.5 on Kubuntu. This worked nicely until one of the regular
Kubuntu updates. Since then, if I call from the shell
   nedit file
then NEdit starts, but does not load 'file'.
However, if I close the KDE session while NEdit is running, it will be started
with the same files loaded if I start KDE again. That is, it must be something
about the shell startup not about loading files at startup at all.
