As of libXcomposite 0.4.0 and compiz-0.7.8 (Fedora 11 standard setup), turning this on makes the frst nedit window in the workspace work, but subsequent ones show up as black, and CPU usage goes up, and everything slows down. I would really like to continue to use compiz, because it /does/ help me with my work (once you turn off all the bells and whistles), but I would also like to continue to use NEdit, because I shudder at the thought of using vi or emacs (obscure and quirky) or gedit (slow).
