alsalam alaikum, i've conducted some more tests -- namely i just cut and pasted the ayah into a seperate file, and bypassed the quran read ayah function and just manually did an fgets on the file to read the ayah and display it -- works just fine. so there's a problem with quran_read_ayah function or with expat, this is in version 0.21. this problem needs to be fixed soon :( -- any ideas, etc, i don't have access to developer cvs access so i can't do much about it personally, though i will argue that it is of crucial priority.
