In fact it depends if your browser supports javascript or not and if it's recent enough.

Anyway, I'm chaning this (I thought it would be cool if visitors could sort users by name/#commits/first commit/etc etc), and I'll re-put a static sort which doesnt use javascript and thus does not depend on the browser,

The problem is the sorting is not due to # of commits. It's due to USER ID.
