Salam,
Okay, this is my first test of the patched putty. I logged in normally, set the encoding to UTF-8. I tried to run duali. Usually, duali's default output looks a little like this:
Line: x Word y: Incorrect: [ARABICWORD] .. .
The output was fine, except that the brackets were like this:
[[ARABICWORD
And, as I typed, the first line (only the first) had visible refreshes that kept making it look like it was dancing. The brackets kept changing place from the correct [ARABICWORD] to the [[ARABICWORD.
And.. that is my 5 minute test drive of putty.
Regards, Mohammed Elzubeir
well, the dancing bug should now be fixed (or at least thats what i think i just did). i found out that the bug doesnt appear in the Debug version, which is the one i usually use, and it only appears in the release version which is the one i usually upload. thats why when nadim pointed the dancing out i couldnt see it, because i was running the debug version...
now how could these two versions produce different results, i dont know.
anyway mr. Elzubeir it would be cool if you could give it another go. and see if it was fixed... and thank u btw...
ak.
