I would suggest you hold on a bit. For the next release we need to do more checks and add more to the doumentation, which is already lacking too much. In fact, I think we need to give it more bug squashing so that we get to the next beta asap. I will be thankful if anybody can check the software as we are changing it; they can access the CVS at any time. That needs updated versions of autotools.
