the best font that supports Arabic and is TTF is the Sans Monospace Font. It is part of the Bittstream Fonts that ship with GNOME. Here is the link:

wouldnt it be better to use a font called 'Arabeyes' as sort of advertising ? only a standard looking monospaced font is needed.
