salam, I installed arabix 0.9 to harddisk but it no more start the X interface, I had a look in it and found that the morphix installer doesn't copy necesseary scripts that starts X session. with arabbix 0.8 there was an xsession script (got from morphix light-gui 0.4 got it self from knoppix i think). the late version is different, it uses different scripts in /morphix directory rather than S99xsession in /etc/rc5.d/. I had a look in the morphixinstaller sources and found that it doesn't make necessary links to start X at boot with level 5.
I thing there are two options to remedy to that: - make necessary changes to morphixinstaller and let it do things cleanely - add necessary links at arabbix partition before compressing into module so that they are copied at HDinstallation time anmar, on wich dist did you build arabbix09, light-gui? did harddisk installation work well on it? dhiaeddine _____________________________________________________________ Are you a Techie?
