BTW, I think arabeyes fonts in debian are broken because of this, Arabic diacritic marks break the letters apart which doesn't happen in the original fonts in our tar ball. For unknown reason, to me at least, when you edit those fonts in FontForge Arabic diacritic glyphs get and advance width, which shouldn't happen. As a fix, use the command SetWidth(0) to set the width of those glyphs to 0, this is already done in the beta1.
