Wa'alaikom alsalaam, We[1] have developed an opensource VPN platform[2] which we are launching in weeks time or so as opensource under LGPL for the community to carry on the development with us if anyone is interested.
It can be server and/or server/client and we are more than happy to contribute it to the secure distro once becomes live. Best Regards, -- Bashar Al-Abdulhadi [1] http://KuwaitNET.net [2] http://VPNPlatform.org Hamed Al-Suhli wrote, On 01/29/2012 06:01 PM:
Assalam Alikom, As many may know, events in Syria poses some security challenges for people in Syria. Many security tricks adapted to overcome such challenges using TOR, VPN, SSH, Skype instead of normal messengers and many other things. but the most important is the effort to develop a special distro to be used by people want to hide themselves from the authority we did our first try Virtus but it's not stable and some security expert tested it and said it's totally unacceptable. this is my first message about this issue and I don't know if Arabeyes accept such project, or if someone maybe interested about that. if it's welcomed I'll continue the discussion. -- Hamed Al-Suhli| حامد السحلي 0060192432795 0060351614510 http://e3rab.com Google talk: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Skype: hamed.fcs D-3-13A, Perdana Villa, Jalan Temenggung 19, 42100, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia _______________________________________________ Developer mailing list [email protected] http://lists.arabeyes.org/mailman/listinfo/developer
