That mailing list (zfs-devel@ZoL) isn't super active, but I see there have
been a few responses over the weekend.

This mailing list (developer@open-zfs) is also a fine place to discuss it.

Since you have code, I'd suggest opening a pull request (mark it "work in
progress"), with a good description of what you're trying to accomplish and
what the open issues are.

Personally, I'm not very familiar with the ACL code, or the semantics
expected by NFSv4 ACL's.
