I've made a lot of progress implementing RAIDZ Expansion, as described in my 2017 OpenZFS Developer Summit talk. There is now an "alpha preview" available, which can be used for testing on disposable pools. I would appreciate any bug reports, or contributions of tests for the ZFS Test Suite.
