is there any chance the zfs org has enough resources to publish unsupported
deb packages for release candidate versions? for a long time there are no
debian/ubuntu debs offered.

so it’s always been difficult to test the rc on ubuntu/debian because virtually
nobody published the debs and compiling from source is not always a pleasure.

i found that there are some debs in the build bot, such as
http://build.zfsonlinux.org/artifacts/pull/8667/zfs-0.8.0-rc4-22-ge53ab0639/Debian-9-x86_64/packages/
but i’m not sure they are meant for public downloads and use.

can those builds be offered as an official way to test the rc versions?
