Hi Team,

Hope you're doing well..!

One of our customer is planning to deploy a NFS server for storing medical image files and each file size is around ~100GiB to ~150GiB
They're planning to deploy Ubuntu-on-POWER9 and create ZFS filesystem with 16MiB block size to cater larger sequential I/O workloads.
Ubuntu-on-IBMPOWER9 will acts as NFS server by exporting volumes from ZFS.

I have few basic questions,

Is OpenZFS supported on Ubuntu-on-IBMPOWER9 platform?
Is OpenZFS supported on RHEL-on-IBMPOWER9 platform?
What is the maximum supported block sizes in OpenZFS? maximum block size is better since my client needs more throughput (~3GiB/sec for Writes and ~7GiB/sec for Reads)

Proposed Components:
Processor: IBM POWER9
ARC= 4x32GB DIMMs
L2ARC= 4x 800GB NVMe SSDs
Backend Storage Pool (zPool)= High Capacity NLSAS disks for 500TiB in DRAID6
