ZFS snapshots are always consistent. Whether or not the VM is
quiescent when the snapshot is taken is another matter, and that
depends entirely on the VM hosting infrastructure, not ZFS.
In short, these aren’t really ZFS questions. They’re Linux/VM (ware?)
questions. :)
I agree.. but the goal was to properly get the interactions with ZFS in
this particular scenario :P
