That's the packaging step complaining.  It's saying that there are some
build files (in the proto area) that aren't mentioned by any of the package
file manifests (usr/src/pkg/manifests/*) - in illumos, the package
descriptions explicitly list all the files and directories they provide.  If
you don't want to package a certain file that ends up in the proto area, you
can add it to exception_lists/packaging instead.


I see, and since it is a PR, they should probably be included, like the rest of the zfs-tests files. Which looks to be system-test-zfstest.mf

This file looks machine produced, like pkgmk or something, is there a tool to run to update the file? Is that all needed to add a new functional/cli_root/ subdirectory to the packaging manifest?
