Earlier this year I recorded a lecture for Marshall Kirk McKusick's class, FreeBSD Kernel Internals: An Intensive Code Walkthrough. The lecture starts with a short overview of ZFS, with most of the time spent on a deep dive into the zfs read and write code paths. We examine the code, and the resulting performance implications. The recording is now available for free:

A huge thanks to Kirk for this professional recording, and especially for editing out 90% of my verbal ticks :-) --matt ------------------------------------------- openzfs-developer Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/274414/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/274414/28015062-cce53afa Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=28015062&id_secret=28015062-f966d51c Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
