Earlier this year I recorded a lecture for Marshall Kirk McKusick's class,
FreeBSD Kernel Internals: An Intensive Code Walkthrough. The lecture
starts with a short overview of ZFS, with most of the time spent on a deep
dive into the zfs read and write code paths. We examine the code, and the
resulting performance implications. The recording is now available for
free:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptY6-K78McY 2 hours 30 minutes.

A huge thanks to Kirk for this professional recording, and especially for
editing out 90% of my verbal ticks :-)
