Someone on IRC suggested it might be this bug:

I tried Philippe's patch, added it to F11's src rpm for pygobject2, and
on my laptop it indeed brings down moovida CPU use from 100% to below 1%
in standby.

Matthias, I recommend you add an rpm for pygobject2 to your repo that
includes that patch.  We might also want to push for it upstream (if it
works for you, please comment in that bug) and/or have Fedora carry the
patch.
