Hi Moovida developers, I hope to address some of Peter's concerns in this follow-up email.
We hope to have an early version of 2.0 available publicly sometime this summer. However, it's important Moovida developers know that since Moovida 2.0 will have a completely different architecture, it will not be possible to reuse any of the Moovida 1.0 code in the development of 2.0. Meanwhile, for Moovida 1.0, we cannot guarantee that critical bugs will be handled swiftly. > > As for the concern of Moovida remaining open, Moovida 2.0 will be partially open, but not to the same extent as 1.0. For this reason the code for 2.0 is not currently available publicly, but when we will be in a position to share more information we will make sure to contact this list first. I hope this helps answer some of your concerns.
