Can I take the opportunity to remind people about dapper.net? http://open.dapper.net/ It's a general purpose website parser that remunges content into RSS feeds, Flash apps, XML, Google Gadgets, etc. and it's made to be absolutely as accessible as possible, i.e. it's all point and click. And it's surprisingly good. I've used it to turn South Cambridgeshire's planning application search page: http://scambs.jdi-consult.net/devcon/pa.php? into a Flash app that gives updates on the latest planning applications in my village every time the page it's embedded in gets updated: http://cambourne.info/ If someone didn't want to wait for their council to provide RSS feeds for particular bits of their site, it's relatively easy to roll your own using Dapper. It's not a long-term solution, but in the meantime it's a good gap-filler to get your New Killer App up and running.
