Thanks - give us a week and it will be a bit clearer :) But I can make some general comments - I'd want to integrate the pledging mechanism into the projects site, and give more visual feedback regarding the progress. The project I'm thinking of involves creating a network of smaller co-ordinated events, and asking people to pledge to help with and organise an event - each event will have it's own unique description, and people who sign up will be given access to tools / features that help them support the event. In that sense I really want to program with an API and integrate this into the overall application.
