According to the Sunday Times today

Taxpayers’ £1m for expenses censoring

the costs were One Million Sterling, and a lot was censored over and 
above the minimum because MPs directly asked the contractors (from the 
Stationary Office) to go much further 'to stop compromising details 
being revealed' (according to House of Commons sources)
