Tom,

I've had a quick look at the data and have produced a rough raster from
the votes cast, attached. Before i get involved in tidying it up -
colouring and clipping to the uk boundary i should point out that the
data is rather coarse. If memory serves correctly the data is roughly at
1km intervals, sometimes 5 times that. Do you want to proceed with the
idea?

Can you give me an idea of timescale? I'm away next week on holiday but
i may be able to produce something before i go. If not, it will have to
be afterwards.
