I noticed that the MP expenses reform proposals are up

I seem to remember mySociety making a proposal a while back on the sort
of transparent system needed - I'm not sure if the ctte has entirely
absorbed it, but it does make the remark with regard to publishing full
receipts in the final paragraph:
14.47
We note the concerns about the cost of publishing receipts.
However, the Committee takes the view
that an IT system could be developed to administer and
process claims as well as to publish information,
which should reduce the costs.
Though it doesn't say exactly how it intends to publish the receipts,
hopefully by the web and not in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet
stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying "Beware of
The Leopard".
