the expenses figures are in pounds sterling for a single year, is that
correct?
So the element, eg.
<expenses2008_total>171609</expenses2008_total>
says that Nigel Dodds' total expenses, excluding salary, for the single
year 2008, were £171, 609 (one hundred and seventy one thousand six
hundred and nine pounds).
