A total of 543,373 homes have been given the code CL26 on Labour’s database of homes in England, which means they are being in need of “correction of inaccuracy in the council tax list”. But their owners have not been told, with CL25 errors only being corrected when homes are put up for sale and revalued for market purposes. ================================ Here is an idea. 1. Get the list under an FOI request. 2. Map post code to council. 3. Get the band for the property 4. Get the real band for the property 5. Get the historical council tax rates 6. Calculate the refund. 7. Generate the email claim letter 8. Email the council with the claim -- Nick
