Hi all

Circulating this on behalf of the Nominet Trust - it's an interesting idea
for a database to keep track of projects such as those that many of you
build. If you can find time to contribute something on your own
experiences, they'd appreciate it very much.

======

Nominet Trust are appealing for help to create an online searchable
knowledge centre for people planning projects to tackle digital exclusion,
improve online safety, and develop and apply innovative ways of using the
internet. We are calling this the Nominet Trust Knowledge Centre, which,
through the sharing of ideas and experience, will help improve future
project planning and enable resources to be used more effectively both
within the UK and beyond.

To build the Knowledge Centre we need you to share your experience by
filling in a short online project evaluation form. The form has been
designed to help people planning similar projects so there is no risk that
your time and effort will be filed away in a draw somewhere! The experience
and ideas you share on the Knowledge Centre will be available to benefit
anyone looking for information on a similar theme. As you can imagine, this
resource will be particularly helpful to small and medium sized
organisations.

If successful, the Nominet Trust Knowledge Centre could make knowledge
sharing and networking simple and cost effective. It's simply a tool; with
your help it could become a powerful one. Please visit
http://www.ntkc.org.uk/ and complete the short online project evaluation
form, and if you know someone with a suitable project, let them know about
it too. Later this summer we will launch Nominet Trust Knowledge Centre
fully, and release a wealth of information into our community.
