Ditto.

CityCamps are spreading around the world and are bringing together an
interesting mix of people.

The first one was in Chicago earlier this year: http://citycamp.com We host
the ongoing internationalizing online CityCamp Exchange as well:

For those outside of London, join the Exchange and put out a shout for your
region.

Hi all,

FutureGov's Dominic Campbell is organising what looks like a pretty
major event this coming weekend.

I can't make it unfortunately, but it does sound like the sort of
thing that might interest at least some of you here.

tara,

Tom

Hi Tom
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to see if you and yours fancied
being involved in http://citycamp.co.uk at all? It's a 2.5/3 day event
in association with the RSA, the GLA, Local Government Improvement and
Development and sponsored by a bunch of organisations that'll be very
familiar.
The aim is to discuss the future of London and its government (GLA
level, 33 boroughs, other government agencies) and the role technology
will play in this.
It kicks off on the Friday ('stimulate') at the RSA with talks from
GLA Chief Executive Leo Boland, John Tulsa from IBM, Matt Jones from
Dopplr/Berg and plenty of others. Saturday ('participate') is the
barcamp at LBi on Brick Lane.
Sunday ('collaborate') is a at the Hub Kings Cross where we'll be
calling for people to work in teams on new or existing ideas with the
chance to pitch to interested onlookers (NESTA are confirmed, and
we're hoping Nominet and others may join).
I wondered if you might like to get involved in shaping any day,
promoting the event, getting techies involved, partnering with us in
some way at any point in the weekend and supporting any projects that
catch your eye (no promises - only if they're good enough obviously).
Anyway, I'd love to hear from you.
Cheers
Dom
