While we're on the subject, is there a website/app/whatever that'll tell me how
far (in metres or minutes) it is from, say, platform 9 at Kings Cross to a
particular Underground platform, and the quickest way to get there if there's
more than one possibility?

I've already got Tube Exits for once I'm underground, but obsessively
shortening the time it takes me to get there would make me happy.*
*For a given value of happiness. YMMV.

Ta in advance.
