You can buy the data from Companies House, though it's expensive if you want all the accounts, or you can subscribe to their XML Gateway (about £5/month, but only gives programmatic access to the basic company details, no documents).

You can also get the basic details from data.companieshouse.gov.uk if you know the company number, e.g.

http://data.companieshouse.gov.uk/doc/company/02050399

The only problem is that you need to know the company number, and you can't get a list of name->number mappings for free as far as I'm aware.
