Hola

a) There are places where OSM data is next-to-worthless for our intended
use cases. I mention this because I live in one of them. I fully grant this
is entirely OSM's fault, but we just made it partly our problem.
b) MaPit has countries in its models. This data does not - everything at
every level internationally seems to be in one country called 'G'.
c) (Related) (feature request) Even if B gets fixed there'd be no way to
show me (eg) "OSM admin level 7 in Canada" and not "OSM admin level 7 in
the entire world" because that's a JOIN and the API doesn't have those
d) There's no list of area types, unlike the UK version

Actually on balance the short version of this is "some of the data is
epicly awful and can we talk about that?", and all the bugs I can see could
be expressed together as "I don't think many people will be able to
actually use this for anything unless the web UI makes the data browseable,
and right now it is not, and can we talk about that too?".

Failing that, will it have a "Global"-only bug list?

Yours, feeling rather more crotchety than usual for going to the problems
instead of recognising what a massive PITA this must have been to actually
construct (Bravo!),
