Hi all, I spoke to a few mySociety developers about a recent Ruby gem I wrote, based on the Sunlight Foundation's own Python project of the same name. The Ruby gem is Pupa.rb at https://github.com/opennorth/pupa-ruby
I've found that it simplifies a lot of the scrapers that I write. I am especially curious to hear from other developers what use cases it doesn't yet address, where its assumptions may fail, etc. so that I can make it more useful to a wider audience.
