This may be a somewhat off-topic question, but my google-fu has failed
me and I'm sure there will be someone knowledgeable on here with the answer!
Are EU constituencies a superset of Westminster parliamentary
constituencies? That is, is every Westminster constituency wholly
contained within its applicable EU constituency? Or are there any UK
constituencies which are partly in one EU constituency and partly in
another?
The reason I'm asking is that this influences the database design on a
project I'm working on. If a UK constituency is only ever in one EU
constituency, then a simple eu_constituency_id field in the
uk_constituency table is sufficient. But if they can overlap more than
one EU constituency, then I'm going to need a pivot table to make the link.
