[developers] Tasks module

I very much like the Tasks module described by ping at the bottom of 
[1]. Is anyone working on this? I offer to help anyone who wants to give 
it a try. The best example of a custom node module (that is what this 
Tasks module would be) in Drupal is recipe.module [2]. Recipe.module 
illustrates well the various hooks needed to build a Drupal Tasks module.
