This is from a time where ant wasn't used very much :)

I'd suggest we change the default target to something reasonable, e.g.
'jar'. The 'jar' target I use most, so it would be convenient if I could
simply type 'ant', but perhaps others have a different opinion?

The 'jar' target is ok fine with me.



Yes since thats also the default one on the applications jar's
