You need to edit mmbob/remail.jsp and replace the from-adres <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> by a valid one.
This needs to be made configurable in the mmbob - config. It's on the list ;-)

When sending mail from mmbob (forgotten password),I get the following message in the mmbase.log:

sending
mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
15:24:21,709 ERR mmbase.applications.email.SendMail - JMSendMail failure: Sending failed;
nested exception is:
class javax.mail.MessagingException: 553 5.1.8 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Domain of sender address [EMAIL PROTECTED] does not exist
Maybe this is a related message (also in the log)?:
15:16:51,943 INF applications.community.modules.CommunityPrc -
Community
module could not (yet) be activated because message builder missing or
could not be activated.
Regular mailsending works ok (using the examples).
Installed mail and mmbob using the packagemanager for mmbase 1.7.3 (Daniels distribution)
Kind regards,
Humphrey
BTW: Thanks for your previous solutions
